Resolve Uganda is a Washington-based coalition of organizations and people working in solidarity with the hopes and visions of millions of Ugandans to advocate, lobby, and act for an end to the twenty-one year war in northern Uganda.

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.

The International Rescue Committee is an organization that goes to war zones to rescue and then rebuild lives. Founded in 1933, the IRC is a global leader in emergency relief, rehabilitation, protection of human rights, protection, post-conflict development, resettlement services and advocacy for refugees and others uprooted or affected by violent conflict and oppression. We bring the world's most vulnerable people from "From Harm to Home."

Lutheran World Relief works with partners in 35 countries to help people grow food, improve health, strengthen communities, end conflict, build livelihoods and recover from disasters.

Invisible Children is a media-based organization that documents the stories of children affected by conflict and injustice, inspiring a new generation to serve as active witnesses in the global community. Their work on the ground in northern Uganda is improving the quality of life for war-affected children through innovative programming and education.

Africa Faith and Justice Network is an advocacy-based organization that aims to change US policy and mentality toward Africa. Inspired by the Gospel and informed by Catholic Social Teachings, AFJN envisions a more just relationship between the United States government and the people of Africa.

Uganda Rising is a Canadian produced, directed and written documentary film that uncovers what has been called a ‘hidden war’ and brings it into clear view. Uganda Social Action Group, based in the UK, is an organization dedicated to educating about the civil war, promoting activism and leading by example. They aim to act as advocates for the people of Northern Uganda who have been forgotten by the world.



NGO / Program Partners

AMREF Canada's mission is to improve the health of disadvantaged people in Africa as a means for them to escape poverty and improve the quality of their lives. The AMREF mission is to be achieved by: developing, testing and promoting the adoption of models for improving health and reducing poverty; training and capacity building at all levels; and contributing to the development of an environment that enables health and wealth improvement.

Canadian Physicans for Aid and Relief works in partnership with vulnerable communities and diverse organizations to overcome poverty and build healthy communities in Africa.

The Justice & Reconciliation Project works with youth and their communities to strengthen locally owned approaches to the reintegration of ex-combatants, justice and reconciliation in war torn northern Uganda. The project was co-founded by the Liu Institute for Global Issues, University of British Columbia, Canada and the Gulu District NGO Forum.

War Child Canada is an independent charitable organization working across North America and around the world to assist children affected by war and to raise awareness for children's rights everywhere. We are working to help thousands whose lives have been torn apart by war, and to engage North American youth to take an active role in creating a more just future.
